Fruits make you feel better. Lots of enzymes to help your body. It's like putting new oil in your car.

If you're going to eat junk food or alcohol, make it a habit to eat fruits, too.

You can buy a cantaloupe and it costs less than most deluxe burgers for goodness sake. Two bananas that can fill your bellies cost less than a soda and fries!!

Don't just walk pass the fruits and go directly to the chips and beer section.

Because they don't have a lot of calories.

I'm reading where sodas (even diet ones) have carbonic acid in them and eat away at your teeth. I'm thinking about just having juice with my meals from now on. For those of you thinking about going that route, make sure the juice has no added sugar. A lot of them do.

While juices have sugar in them, it is released more slowly than sugar in a soda.

If it's not organic certified, wash the skins real good or cut it off.

Even if it is Organic I scrub'em, because of the wax coating

What happens if you don't wash your fruit?

The pesticide residues remain, apples in particular are sprayed with a waxy film to keep the bugs off. Eating pesticides can't be good for you.

As silly as my last post was, I have changed for the better with reguard to fruit. After reading this thread, slowly but surely I found myself buying fresh fruit on a regular basis at the supermarket. For the past month or so, I have been eating fruit almost every day. And I like it. I actually look forward to my fruit snack in the late afternoon. As and added bonus, business in the bathroom has never been better.

Not much of a fruit eater. But I do like blending some fruit up with some ice and making a smoothie. Do you loose much in way of the nutrition value doing it this way rather just eating it whole?
